From Ross - my most cherished memory.

Created by Beth 9 years ago
Growing up with 2 brothers and a sister, it was rare to get one on one time with mum. So one of my most cherished memories of us two together was the day she took me to a police fun day, going around a skid track in a patrol car together. That day was filled with laughter and I can clearly remember her happy smile.

That day really had a lasting impression on me and it sparked an interest that shaped my education and career path. I'm just really happy that my mum got to see me achieve my ambition in becoming a police officer and the fact that this made her proud.

It saddens me to think that she won't be here to see me at my passing out parade but it gives me some comfort to know that she no longer is in pain and suffering. I imagine she will be there in spirit on the day with nan and grandad, raising a glass to me.

I am sure a significant point in her life was becoming the grandmother to our two beautiful children, Charlie & Sophia.

Mum will be greatly missed by us all.
